Snuggle Time with Carrie

I love to sit down and read my books before I take my nap. Carrie took a few pictures of us snuggling up to read before my afternoon nap...

We Went on a Nature Walk!

My Trip to the Hospital

Last Friday I went to the doctor with Daddy and Carrie for a rash I had on my arms and legs. The doctor said it was a strep rash, since I had just had strep throat. While we were there my Daddy asked the doctor to take my blood sugar since I had some of the symptoms of diabetes. When the nurse checked my blood sugar, it was pretty high so we went across the street and checked in to the New Hanover Children's Hospital. Although I would have rather been home, it was a really fun place with all types of toys and a big playroom just for kids who are there like me. Below in all the pictures you will see I have a red sock on my arm...this is so I would not mess with my IV...I was such a big girl while I was there...Mommy, Daddy and Carrie were all so very proud of me.

I am so glad to be back at home but I am glad the doctors helped me and taught my parents and Carrie how to take care of me. Thanks for all the prayers and calls during my time in the Children's Hospital!

Pool Side Princess

Yesterday Carrie and I went to the pool to celebrate me feeling better! Below are a few photos from our afternoon in the sun...did I mention I had a suntan when I got back with 50 sunscreen on? Carrie is soooo jealous!

Being sick is no fun...I am so happy to be feeling better!

Strep throat is no fun...but pink toenails are!

This past week I have been sick with Strep Throat. I started feeling bad last Thursday with a runny nose so Mommy and Daddy took me to the doctor on Monday. I knew he was going to tell Mommy and Daddy to give me some yucky medicine so I started crying as soon as he walked in. Well, now I am on antibiotics for my strep throat so hopefully I will be feeling all better very soon! In the meantime, I like snuggling while watching my favorite TV channel, Noggin and doing much more of this...sleeping!
On Wednesday, I woke up from a four hour nap and Carrie said I had my runny nose in my hair so she gave me a bath! I have to say...it made me feel a little better to play in the water, get all clean and smell good for Mommy and Daddy when they came home. Today, Carrie painted my toenails pink! Look how cute they are!

Mommy and Daddy are taking me back to the doctor tomorrow so I can feel better. I told her I don't have time to be sick...the pool is waiting on me to come play! Keep checking back to see me and my latest adventures!
