Pretty In Pink

All the flowers are in bloom so Carrie took me on a walk to look at them. Below are a few photos of me playing outside and stopping to smell the flowers...

Dying Easter Eggs

Before Easter, Carrie boiled some eggs for me and let me dye them for Mommy and Daddy. Here I am with the first egg and the stickers that go on the dyed ones. This is going to be fun...
I am dying the egg blue in this picture...oh man this is going to be fun for Carrie to get off my hands...
Here I am dying the pink egg...I really loved sticking my whole hand in the egg dye.
and the green...
Look at one of my finished eggs...didn't I do such a good job?
This is my Easter present to Mommy and Daddy! Carrie helped me a little dying the eggs but then I put the stickers on and put my hand prints on their card. They both loved it! Even though we started out with ten eggs, I would say these six look pretty amazing for a 1 year old!

Playing in the Rain

It was raining all day so Carrie decided to take me outside and let me play in the carport. Instead of playing there I decided I wanted to run out in the rain. Carrie had to chase after me but I loved playing in the rain and getting all wet! Below is a video Carrie took on her phone of me running and her coming to get me. Turn up your volume so you can hear my laugh...

I Love Playing Outside!

I really like the warmer weather around here lately...Carrie and I have been able to take strolls around the neighborhood and spend lots of time outside. I love being outside so much I don't want to ever come in and take my nap. Below are some photos from a stroll Carrie and I took the other day to the park in the neighborhood. I loved picking all the flowers in the grass and carrying them around...

I Am Learning to Color!

Last week I tried coloring with my crayons and figured out they made pretty colorful lines on the paper! Before I had thought they just looked pretty tasty and couldn't keep them out of my mouth. It was so exciting to be able to make a mark on the paper and Carrie said I made the most beautiful pictures. Below are some photos of me coloring my first masterpiece and a video where I express my excitement!

My Easter Photo Shoot

This past weekend Mommy and Daddy took me to the park and snapped some photos of me in my new Easter dress. It was such a beautiful day and I loved playing outside in the grass. Here are a few photos from my photo shoot...enjoy!

I Have Pigtails!

My hair is long enough now to put in pigtails and it looks so cute! Carrie fixed my hair and put two big bows in it...I have to say I am such a pretty girl!
Smile...
Look at my pigtails!
I am sooo cute!
I have been practicing walking out the door with a little step...I finally got up the courage to do it!

Fun with Spaghetti!

One day for lunch Mom had fixed me spaghetti for the first time! Carrie tried feeding it to me but I insisted I feed it to myself...easier said than done! Spaghetti is some slippery stuff to eat with your hands! Below are some photos and videos Carrie took of me during my "spaghetti fun."

Giggles for being messy...
Yay...I got some in my mouth!

My Trip to the Aquarium

I was so excited about my trip to the aquarium! Carrie and I took the Fort Fisher ferry and I saw birds and lots of water. As soon as I walked in I saw this huge alligator, but don't worry...I wasn't afraid of it at all. I went right up and touched it...I was very brave! I am so excited! Posing with the alligator! Looking at all the fish...wow! Turtles... In the aquarium they had a huge tank with all types of fish...even sharks! I wasn't afraid though...I went right up to the glass and watched them all swim around in the tank. This is a video of me in front of the fish tank and then running around the aquarium...Carrie had to chase after me!

When we were leaving there was a big frog and I had to touch it of course! The aquarium was so much fun I fell asleep waiting to get on the ferry to go home. I must have been really tired because Carrie said there were all kinds of horns and loud noises but I just kept on snoozing.
